At the Amaranthine Museum

The Labyrinth at the Amaranthine Museum is a stunning, unforgettable introduction to the history of art and the creative process in civilization, interpreted in inspired form by one of the foremost artists of our day.

A walk through the Labyrinth at the Amaranthine Museum is a walk from prehistory into post future.

The Friends of Les Harris are proud to sponsor this exciting installation, The Labyrinth at the Amaranthine Museum. Les Harris has produced a multi-dimensional journey, and ever evolving artistic experience to be visited not once but again and again.

Instead of becoming a minimalist, I seem to have gravitated toward maximalism. It swept me along toward some finality which never seemed to manifest itself until I created the present labyrinth. If it is art, it will elevate, illuminate and lift the race. Art expresses the spiritual reality of the psyche, not the rational. Novelty, newness, freshness, expressiveness alone are insufficient.

Les Harris

Entering The Labyrinth, you may feel that you have become one with the flow of images surrounding you. The mystery of discovery, the tomb of Tutankhamun, Greek temples, Gothic cathedrals, Versailles, blend together in a carnival of dreams, visual and auditory.

This artists whole efforts enclosed in one space is an amazing testimony to the creative power one life can produce in an undiluted collection displaying growing maturity of style and focus.
